Treatment of wastewater involves comprehensive measures for cleaning. After such treatment, the treated wastewater may be discharged to the water pools in a harmless manner. The treatment of domestic wastewater is carried out in special treatment facilities. The cleaning process is divided into 4 stages:

⦁ Biological treatment
⦁ Physical and chemical cleaning
⦁ Wastewater treatment
During the treatment of wastewater, the structure of the water should not be altered, the biological activity of the water should not be disturbed, and the condition of the water obtained after treatment should be as close as possible to its natural state. In this case, the problem of contamination of potable water reservoirs is eliminated.
